    I have a 2022 Ryker Sport, 16" rims. Will that tire fit in the rear fender? A lot of work to find out it won't. lol.

    • @QuasiMotard
      @QuasiMotard 10 часов назад

      My 2019 Ryker Rally had a 15" rear wheel, so the fitment is different than your 16" wheel. I'm sure that any comparable automotive-type street radial tire with the same size as the original will fit without any issues. The Rykers are strange beasts with odd-sized front wheels/tires. There aren't many alternative tires except for the factory Kenda's (which I hate). I sold my Ryker last year, so I'm out of that game now. You might check some Ryker forums to see if anyone has found good tire upgrades. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

    • @QuasiMotard
      @QuasiMotard 14 часов назад

      I pried the nylon grommet/stay out of the inner panel and then routed the end of the cable behind the frame rail. The end of the loop and the nylon grommet wedge perfectly between the frame rail and the inner plastic fender. The under-seat compartment is no longer "secure", but that's better than fiddling with that side cover whenever I needed to remove the seat. 😉👍 --QM

    Hi! I had a Suzuki Inamuza 250 for years, when I sold it it had 105000k and the valves were never adjusted because they never needed it. I don't understand how Enfields always have to adjust valves starting at the first service?! Is odd.... Btw, nice explanations. Cheers

    • @QuasiMotard
      @QuasiMotard 13 часов назад

      Thanks for watching! Wow... that's a LOT of km's without adjustment! Suzuki's maintenance schedule specifies check/adjustment every 5000 km's for the GW250 engine. It's not uncommon for air-cooled engines to need valve adjustments after the initial break-in period (usually 600 miles or 1000 km). Most of my Honda and Yamaha motorcycles, whether air-cooled or liquid-cooled, had that same check-up. Air-cooled engines with tappet valves usually require periodic maintenance to verify valve clearances every 4-8K miles (6500-13000 km). Liquid-cooled engines have tighter tolerances and don't have such drastic temperature variances, so they typically use shim-type valves that need checked/serviced every 12-16K miles. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

    I refuse and will not ever buy a house that is in an HOA. I’ve heard way too many horror stories for me. That’s a very anti-freedom. If I theoretically own, my house and my driveway should be able to do whatever I want with it so my opinion, if you buy a house that’s in an HOA you can’t do whatever you want with it. You don’t own it. The HOA owns it. You just pay for it. Pay the maintaining pay taxes on it and the idea that some entity can find you for doing what you want with the house you theoretically own you have screw that sideways. I’m sorry that you’re living in one of those. I’ve also heard other horror stories with HOA’s where they decided to make one and when a new HOA is made I’m under the impression that you have to consensually sign up otherwise you’re not the HOA and I’ve heard of times when a person that had lived there before was just like you know I’m not joining the HOA, continue to not join and then the HOA started trying to pull their boat crap and the guy was like I’m not member, but holes go away they became a whole thing, but they didn’t have any authority because a person never paid any dues and never joined and here’s a tip if the HOA are truly being butt holes if enough people that are in the HOA want to dissolve it and make it so doesn’t exist you can actually get rid of HOA’s but you have to get a certain amount of people together that remembers to get rid of itI read stories about where that happened to

    Hi Quasi! From the look of the shed that you're talking about. There is a way around having any problems with it. You could do that size but put a flat roof on it that way it's no longer as visible as it would be. You'll definitely have to jump through the hoops regarding a permanent structure, but I suggest you go talk to your neighbors and see what they had to go through to build their own. You could put a Murphy bed in it that way it stays hidden because some of them come with shelves when they are closed. As for having a super hot garage you could get an air conditioner that only has the vent go out the window. That would decrease the temperature and make it more comfortable to work on different projects. by the way, you might want to look up what a trampoline that size costs. What people are selling theirs for I think you might be surprised what it's worth. That is a nice trampoline and it looks like it's in good shape. it's definitely worth some money!! Just thought I would give you some ideas to think about. Take Care. John

      Good point! We are discussing those scenarios now. We're kicking around our options for moving vs staying here for a few more years. The shed could be moved or transplanted if it's built on a wood floor/base and concrete blocks instead of a full concrete foundation. Another option could be a 20' container or a trailer... cleverly disguised NOT to look out of place. 🤔

    Aw man, I'd like to rant a bit. From India, Web development, working in one of the tax preparation software for US. Looks like Mr.Quasi is working in Network/Hardware department. I got a Honda CB Shine 125 and Hyundai i20 sportz MT. Riding them is a joy but population and (chaotic) traffic is really taking the joy out of it. Dream is to buy QJMotor SRV300 and ride with like-minded people one day and for car, Ford Ranger Raptor (unfortunately Ford left Indian market). Before all that, first need to own a house, been living in rental entire life. Would love to move to America legally and make some good money. But scared of 2 things, 1. The companies are firing left and right there to open MNCs here (as outsourcing saves them tons of money and overtime is normal here with no pay and no questions asked) 2. Scared that I might be considered as an illegal and something bad could happen. Though as advised I want to take action than just praying, yet mind's still cat on the wall.

    Hi Quasi There actually is a Bible verse that supports what you are saying. Heaven helps those who help themselves! . It's not about believing things will happen it's knowing they will and it's only a matter of when they will happen. As for the Silver Wing. I am looking forward to see you ride that bike. There are three bikes I like the look of the Bergman 650, then the Silver Wing and I'm starting to really like the PCX 150. some others I'm not sure about but they're interesting. I have heard from different people that have City Grip 2 tires. They are one of the best all-around tires good in the rain and in the snow and even off-road for the price. Wasn't sure what they meant by for the price but I understand they're great tires. Once you are using them, everyone will know whether they are good or not. Glad Things Are Starting to Work out! take care and ride safe John

    Hi Quasi. You need to find out if Texas does have a minimum $300,000 policy. If it does, you can sue his insurance company or whoever gave him that policy for negligence and they will have to try and recoup the money back from him. If he is driving a new car that he should be making payments on. Then he does have assets. He's a Drug Dealer!! Otherwise how would he be paying for his car if is not a drug dealer. He could be working for his parents under the table. So when your lawyers look at him. He doesn't look like it has any assets. You could put pressure on the DA because you can send your videos to the news . Let them show it to everyone and if the public is outraged then they can't drop the case because of the Public won't let them. .Either Way That Really Sucks John

    So I have Michelin tires on my super cub, and I noticed that the rear wears out in like 3000 miles instead of 4000 miles but I think that’s because the rubber is a little softer and from my experience they grip pretty good they have never had a problem with grip in the rain or during normal writing of course they had trouble with grip in the ice and snow, but I don’t think that’s the tires fall. Any tires gonna have a problem so I like them. And even though they don’t get quite as many miles, I’m good with it because I want extra rip for extra safety. And the tires are a little bit wider than the ones that came on the cub but they fit on the rim just fine

    Yeah, I was wondering how you made out with that coolant leak, but there is a reason why the engineers decided to use plastic it’s cheaper and they don’t care because they don’t have to work on them. Some parts should absolutely be made of metal and this is one of them, but the car company are like totally use plastic. It will be fine. It will totally last the amount of the warranty most of the time, we don’t care if our customers get stranded when their cars get higher mileage on them that’s fine. Another video once they did it like a gas line and I guess it went like around the top of the back of the engine and I’m like oh yeah that’s such a great ideaabout the rest of the world, but I would be OK with paying a little bit more money to get a freaking metal part where you should have a metal part. And as far as the flash that you were talking about on the Honda rebel 1100 like as far as I’m concerned, that’s how it should come from the factory a vehicle should come from the factory in my opinion being able to use 100% of the power I mean, why not why would you limit that I mean the less they’re going for maybe the vehicle lasting longer but I feel like I should have to make that decision if I need or want 100% of the power I should be able to have it and use it so yeah I would definitely flash that but I was considering maybe the rebel 300 but then I was looking at the dual sport And I was thinking the rally might be better because it would be more capable in on off-road situations but I sure have to use my current and that is going to be quite a while so it’s wishful thinking I can only have one motorcycle at a time because of space, but that’s OK

    That is not fun all that heat. I’m lucky where I am right now. The high today is like 72 for a month or so maybe two we had temperatures like that but it seems that fall is now on its way where I am and my car does have AC but I was like nope I must ride the two wheel vehicle

    Wow! What a coincidence, I own a Mazda 3 as well and just recently replaced the coolant manifold too. Also replaced both temp sensors. My A/C stopped working (in the heat of summer 🫠) so that’s the next on the list 🙌😮‍💨
